CISI History

Chlorinator & Instrument Service, Inc. (CISI) began operation in 1983 as the first Factory Authorized Repair Center for ADVANCE Gas Chlorinators manufactured by Capital Controls Company. Capital Controls discontinued the program in 1985, but we continued providing parts and service on all brands of gas chlorinators and accessory equipment to our clients across the country. We began working with International Dioxcide, Inc., where we expanded into chlorine dioxide, providing gas chlorine equipment to IDI for the generation of chlorine dioxide. Later, when development began on the next generation of chlorine dioxide generation equipment, CISI assisted in the equipment design, which led to the issue of U.S. Patents # 5,006,326 and 5,009,875 used for the generation of chlorine dioxide.
